10th Annual Summer FUN-draiser & Art Auction

 

Join us for our 10th Annual Summer FUN-draiser & Art Auction that will leave you shaken and not stirred. This year we celebrate 10 years of bringing awareness around the issue of human trafficking and raising much needed funds for programs and resources to provide survivors. We could not have done this without the support of our friends, family and colleagues and we hope you join us as we celebrate this huge milestone.

As part of our celebration, we will be honoring a member from the legal community at our event with the Community Supporter Award.

We’re giving you a “License to Kill” for the evening so come dressed for the part. Guests will be able to enjoy appetizers at one NYC’s hottest rooftop bars while bidding on one of kind art pieces donated by artists from all over the country. The evening will also include our famous pie throw that will give you the opportunity to throw a pie at the face of legal industry professional.

Life Preservers Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in 2009 that together with its international collective of artists, legal professionals and others is dedicated to eradicating human trafficking through fundraising, creative programming and a network of affinity relationships to organizations and agencies providing direct services to victims of human trafficking.

Since 2010, Life Preservers Project has raised over $100,000 for survivors of human trafficking. In addition, we regularly collect and distribute through our Crisis Bag Program much-needed toiletries and undergarments for survivors living in shelters in New York City.

 

 

FAQs

 

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no minimum age though every attendee must purchase a ticket to attend. Please remember this is a formal event. Anyone wishing to consume alcohol must be at least 21 years old and have ID.

 

What can I bring into the event?

Please be sure to bring cash or credit card with you for the cash bar and auctions.

What’s the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any refunds. You may either sell or give your ticket away to another attendee. Please be sure to email us with any changes to the attendee name prior to the event. If you are unable to sell or give your ticket away, your ticket price will be considered a donation and you will receive an acknoledgement letter of gratitude for your tax deductible gift.
