2019 Holiday Party & Toy Drive

About this Event
This special holiday season comes but once a year. Let’s celebrate with some holiday cheer!
Our friends from the United States Marines will be in attendance again to collect new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to children living in the underserved communities of NYC.
You’re encouraged to wear winter flannels or your ugly holiday sweater.
Life Preservers is providing appetizers. There will be a cash bar.
Unsure of what gifts to purchase for the kids? Here are some of our favorite ideas:
- Art supplies–Paint sets, craft kits, art kits, scrapbook kits, model car or plane kits
- Legos and other building sets
- Sporting equipment–Baseball gloves, bats, basketballs, footballs, soccer balls
- Children’s or teen book sets
- Backpacks
- Purses
- Watch/wallet gift sets
- Board games
- Radio control cars/trucks
- Hand-held electronics
- Skateboards or roller skates (don’t forget a helmet)
- Writing journals and pen sets
- Magic sets
- Musical Instruments
- Ride on Toys
Monetary donations will be accepted on site via cash, check, or credit card.
Through our annual holiday event, Life Preservers Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, has been able to collect hundreds of toys for children in our community each holiday season over the last 11 years.
